Hires Jim Lauria as VP of Sales & Marketing

Oxnard, CA (November 1, 2007) – Amiad Filtration Systems, a leading manufacturer of water filtration solutions, has hired Jim Lauria as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the company’s North American business.

Jim Lauria has more than 25 years of experience in liquid/solid separation processes and water treatment. A chemical engineer by training, he rose to leadership positions in the filtration media industry – including EaglePicher Filtration and Minerals and Synergistic Performance Corporation – and founded Team Chemistry LLC, a consulting firm that helped clients market water treatment technologies.

Amiad manufacturers automatic and manual self-cleaning filters, used in industrial, irrigation and municipal applications in 66 countries. In addition to filters ranging in size from ¾-inches to 24 inches, Amiad also manufactures fertilizer injectors and hydraulic valves. Jim will be based at the company’s U.S. headquarters in Oxnard, Calif.
